I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
