I have wagered on millions of hands of blackjack. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
