Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are ghastly. As with the popular fairground ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going great for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You have to be a blackjack player who can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is choked full with them.
If you like the little coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a bigger wager, then hop aboard for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not naturally recount how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the air. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will always remember that mortifying fall as clear as day.
