I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
